Ambient AI has largely focused on converting clinical conversations into structured documentation, leaving clinicians to translate words into orders, follow-up, and care coordination.
This session explores how context-aware and agentic AI can interpret clinical intent and safely initiate downstream actions such as order preparation, prior authorization support, and patient education. We’ll discuss informatics challenges including trust, validation, governance, and human-in-the-loop design, and examine how moving beyond documentation can preserve clinical judgement while further improving care quality.
