Advancing Biomedical Research with the All of Us Researcher Workbench
Presentation Type: Workshop - Instructional
Not recorded for AMIA Now
Presentation Time: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Primary Track: Clinical Research Informatics
This instructional workshop invites participation from researchers interested in exploring different research use cases on the All of Us Research Program Researcher Workbench, a cloud computing platform. This session will cover three applications of biomedical informatics research using the All of Us database and platform. Together, these use cases demonstrate how researchers can leverage All of Us data to: (1) integrate social factors of health data to train a machine learning model for predicting health status, (2) analyze Fitbit data to evaluate chronic disease risk, and (3) prioritize drug repurposing candidates for Alzheimer’s disease using ChatGPT with real-world clinical validation. This workshop culminates with a detailed walkthrough of key features and tooling within the updated All of Us Researcher Workbench powered by Verily Pre.
