The rapid integration of AI into healthcare and life sciences (HCLS) is transforming the digital workforce, demanding new skills and reshaping roles and career paths. This panel will examine the key trends, including AI-driven automation, the evolving dynamics of human-AI collaboration, and essential competencies and training pathways needed to thrive in this new landscape. We will examine the effectiveness of various human-AI interaction models, dive into the nuance of the different views, include examples of AI as a “colleague” or “direct report” in a healthcare setting and other possible examples and case studies wherever possible, and discuss benefits and opportunities targeting women in HCLS. For example, what happens when AI works as a colleague or as a direct report? Will humans and AI work better together or apart? AI-driven transformation is creating new opportunities for collaboration models and inclusive leadership. This panel will explore these emerging avenues, addressing FemTech's role in closing women's health gaps and developing strategies for inclusive leadership within the global bioeconomy—a knowledge-driven economy centered on biotechnological innovation. Attendees will gain practical insights into navigating AI's organizational impact on the workforce and fostering personal career development and inclusive leaderships in the AI-driven landscape.
