Description

ASTP staff will describe its new role and function in the Department of Health and Human Services, serving a greater convening and coordination function, as well as a primary point of leadership and accountability for HHS-wide health technology, data, artificial intelligence, and information technology policy. This panel will also discuss implementation of ONC Health IT Certification Program provisions related to decision support interventions and describe why it matters to the health informatics community.

how transitioning form ONC to ASTP may affect the Office’s agenda and a review of major regulations that came out
in 2024. This will be an opportunity for members to engage with ASTP and for ASTP to gain insight from membership
