The National Institutes of Health (NIH) provides numerous resources and funding opportunities to support clinical informatics and data science research, allowing researchers to advance knowledge and improve human health. Within NIH, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the Office of Data Science Strategy (ODSS) have a shared interest in supporting the clinical informatics community. In this panel, we will describe both funding opportunities and resources available from NLM and ODSS to support clinical informatics and data science research. NLM and ODSS staff will share their insights and perspectives on the grant application process and highlight resources that support researchers in this field.
