AMIA Policy in Action: Update on AMIA Engagement in Federal Policy and How to Get Involved

This session will be an overview of AMIA's public policy work and how AMIA represents membership to the federal government. AMIA's Senior Vice President of Policy will go over AMIA's public policy goals, strategies, and tactics, including AMIA's public policy priorities and our proactive advocacy and AMIA's public policy principles and our reactive advocacy. The session will also go over how AMIA policy engages the federal government, the latest updates on informatics policy inside the beltway, and how members may get involved in AMIA public policy.
